Local Government Online Indiana (LoGO)
Local Government Online Indiana (LoGO) manages the ecommerce web portal for the City of Indianapolis and Marion County, IndyGov.BIZ,
formerly known as CivicNet. In addition, LoGO handles secure payment processing for numerous local government municipalities located in
Indiana. LoGO is a private contractor that provides online services to the City and County at no cost to taxpayers.
LoGO is dedicated to providing Indiana local governments online information and services for its citizens, businesses and governments.
Thousands of interactive eGovernment transactions are made possible through dozens of customized online applications. These applications
allow businesses and citizens to conduct business via the Internet - no waiting in line, no parking inconvenience, and no mail delay.
LoGO operates under a self-funded contract in which services are developed and maintained at no up-front cost to taxpayers and
departments. As a private sector partner, LoGO absorbs the costs of building, hosting and managing online and payment services by charging
convenience fees on all online services. LoGO is an Indianapolis-based wholly owned eGovernment subsidiary of NIC.
LoGO Indiana’s parent company, NIC, has successfully built and manages more eGovernment
Portal services than any other company. As the leading provider of eGovernment Web sites and
online services in the United States, NIC has partnered with more than 3,000 federal, state and local
government agencies, processing more than 120 million eGovernment transactions and $11.7
billion in government payments in 2009.
A Results-Oriented and Collaborative Vendor: In 19 years of specialized eGovernment experience,
NIC has developed a business approach that emphasizes long-term mutual wins. LoGO Indiana has put
this experience into action for over a decade, and believes our local eGovernment platforms will
continue to prosper with the support of an experienced vendor that is focused on delivering
measurable value to local government partners, businesses and constituents.
